My son took the university exam this year. It's truly a very challenging process; you realize it when you experience it. Even though I'm an educator myself, it can be difficult to guide your own child. In this sense, we met you, and I'm so glad we did! In fact, we were even late. I wish we had started this journey in 11th grade. Our mentor Yağmur supported Baran incredibly. After every exam, they identified his deficiencies, and they worked on those topics. Baran became more responsible than ever, to the point where if he was outside and couldn't finish the homework given by his mentor, he'd rush home. As you know, YKS is a very long and tiring marathon. To finish this marathon in the healthiest way possible, I felt I needed support and started mentoring. While the content of mentoring can vary greatly from person to person, I asked my coach to share their own experiences for exam motivations, exam tactics, exam planning, and a healthier process, and this greatly relieved me. Because walking this path with someone who has gone through the same process with you, who has experienced the obstacles that might come your way before you, was both very reassuring and very comforting for me.
